Workout YouTube channels can be a life-saver when it comes to losing weight.
When trying to lose weight, exercising plays a really big role in shedding pounds and also toning your muscles.
Purchasing a gym membership can get really expensive, so working out at home can be a really cost effective option to jump starting your fitness journey.
When you go on YouTube it can be really overwhelming to choose which channels to watch or what workouts to do. I’m going to tell you which channels I frequently visit to find incredible workouts that have helped me lose weight and keep it off.

1. Sydney Cummings
This is my go-to channel for workout videos. I cannot recommend her enough.
One of the great parts about her workouts is that she posts new workout videos every single day at 5 am so if you have a hard time choosing what workout to do each day, she takes all of the guesswork out of it.
She also has great playlists so if you only have a certain amount of time to get your workout in, she has ones ranging from 20-60 each and for each muscle groups.
She is also very encouraging and gives great motivation to continue through the workouts and to persevere through your overall fitness and health journey.
2. Body Project
Body Project is another one of my go-to channels for workout videos.
If you are just starting your weight loss journey and don’t want to only be looking at people that are really in shape, this is the channel for you. It can be discouraging to only see people that are completely jacked when you are not, but Body Project has people of all shapes, sizes, and abilities represented in their videos.
They also have a wide range of types of workouts. If you are a total beginner that needs something low impact, or you are advanced and need something more challenging, there are plenty of videos that will work for you.
3.Emi Wong
Emi Wong is a great channel if you are trying to target a specific area of your body.
Even though you cannot target where you will specifically lose weight on your body, you can target which muscle groups you are focusing on. So if you want to target specific parts of your body in a short period of time (10-30 minutes) this a the perfect channel for you.
She has over 4 million subscribers and tens of millions of views on her videos so many people have tried these workouts and have had great results. If I am looking for a shorter workout, this is the channel that I will look to first.
4. Chloe Ting
Choe Ting is known for her workout challenges.
If you are someone that does better with a short term workout goal (about 2 weeks) then this a great channel for you.
Chloe has over 21 million subscribers on her channel and hundreds of millions of views on her most popular videos. She also has many transformational videos online that showcase the results that people have done from these workouts.
I will say from personal experience that her workouts are pretty intense so if you are just starting to workout, then you might want to wait until you are more comfortable exercising before you tackle them. If you participate in her challenges you will complete a few of her videos every day, with a few days off, and it can get pretty repetitive.
If you need to do something different everyday, you might want to look into some of the other channels on this article. However, if you are more goal oriented, this is a great video for you.
5. Popsugar Fitness
Popsugar fitness is another great workout channel to watch if you like a lot of variety in the workouts that you do.
Every type of workout that you can imagine (dance, boxing, low impact, class, barre, etc) has its own playlist and there are also playlists for certain trainers so if you find one that you like you can focus on them.
Wherever you are in your fitness journey, there is a workout that will work for you, or if a certain type of workout speaks to you, then you will have plenty of options.

While doing these videos you might need some different workout equipment to be able to complete the workout. These channels all have no equipment workouts but having things like dumbbells and resistance bands will definitely enhance your workouts.
